Students can choose from over 250 undergraduate courses from a diverse range of subjects. All undergraduate programmes offer students the opportunity to take part in a work placement to enhance their employability skills. 

The University of Reading offers undergraduate students a number of study abroad opportunities at partner institutions across the world, and all students can learn a language alongside their studies for free via the Institution-Wide Language Programme. Languages currently include Arabic, Chinese Mandarin, French, German, modern Greek, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, and British Sign Language.

The University is proud to offer an extensive range of joint honour undergraduate programmes, giving students the opportunity to combine two subjects.

There are approximately 200 master's courses available at the University of Reading.

Students are usually required to have a good undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent). If you have other qualifications and a number of years’ relevant work experience then you may also be eligible to apply.
