Changes in the way content is distributed are informing changes to the ways in which content is produced. For example, radio is moving away from solely broadcasting to also offering podcasts – reflecting changes that will continue to evolve as audience engagement and markets change. The focus of the Online Media, Podcasting and Radio major is on online delivery and the new ways in which audiences engage with online audio and video content. It offers a range of production and practice-based units in which you’ll use the most up-to-date industry multiplatform technologies (news, radio and live streaming technologies; podcasting and vodcasting tools; and social media authoring platforms) to produce and distribute a broad range of factual and creative content.
