General eligibility conditions

To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or other undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

Details about the program

The 2nd cycle training in advanced pharmacotherapy (M. Sc.) is spread over two programs followed concurrently which total 60 credits, namely:

  • the Master’s degree in advanced pharmacotherapy (M. Sc.) of 45 credits
  • the Complementary Diploma in Advanced Pharmacotherapy of 15 credits
Studies are governed by the Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and the following provisions:

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible as a regular student for the Masters in Advanced Pharmacotherapy (M.Sc.), the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold an undergraduate degree in pharmacy or a diploma deemed equivalent
  • have obtained in the 1st cycle an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 or the equivalent
  • hold your pharmacy practice permit in Quebec when starting the program
  • have experience considered relevant (internships) in hospital care in Canada for the practical concentration in health establishments.
