General eligibility conditions

To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or other undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student for the Master's degree in development, installation and management of development projects option, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Montreal, in one of the following fields: design (industrial, interior, graphic), architecture, urban planning or landscape architecture; computer science, engineering, communications, film studies or any other relevant field
  • have obtained in the 1st cycle, an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 (or the equivalent) or the average required by the original university for admission to a 2nd cycle program, if this is higher
  • have worked in a field related to planning for at least two years after their first university degree unless, on the recommendation of the program director, the dean makes an exception.
