Sociology

The Sociology Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of  Malang (UM) was not born without being separated from the History Study Program,  Faculty of Social Sciences, UM. In the field of teaching, most of  the History lecturers have taught courses in Sociology and Anthropology  as auxiliary sciences in the History Study Program since 1964 until now . Some lecturers have applied Sociology and Anthropology studies  with a social sciences approach. In the field of research, the lecturers have examined social, civic, civic,  national and educational issues. The opening of the Sociology Study Program at  the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Malang was based on a letter Mandate of the Director General of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia  No.115/E.E2/DT/2014 dated 5 February 2014 and strengthened by  Higher Education Permit No.89/E/O/2014. As a new study program, the  Sociology Education Study Program has only one study program, namely  Sociology Education. The Sociology Education Study Program is one of the majors  in the Social Humanities field which has quite a lot of enthusiasts.
