MPU’s postgraduate programmes are designed to cultivate in students a depth of academic knowledge, enhance their self-learning abilities, develop their research skills, and foster a global perspective. These programmes aim to equip students with the necessary tools to tackle practical challenges and nurture them to become quality researchers, composite expertise and professionals in their specialized fields.
MPU offers master’s and doctoral degree programmes which are in line with global development and industrial trends. Academic programmes are offered by six faculties, including Applied Sciences, Health Sciences and Sports, Languages and Translation, Arts and Design, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Business. Master’s degree programmes and Doctoral degree programmes are in a diverse range of disciplines such as technology and innovation, health sciences, sports sciences, languages and translation, arts, public administration and services, business and management. Master's degree programmes are two years in duration. Doctoral degree programmes are three years in duration.
Furthermore, MPU offers a number of dual degrees programmes in collaboration with reputable universities worldwide, providing study-aboard opportunities and cutting-edge learning resources from both universities.
While MPU’s educational provision is widely recognised by international accreditation institutions, the links with universities and the industries have been particularly strong, creating excellent opportunities for students to build their career networks. With two campuses, the main campus in Macao and the Taipa campus, MPU offers students a comprehensive range of facilities.
MPU's Smart Campus infrastructure empowers students in their independent learning and research endeavors. All classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with advanced IT and multimedia systems, facilitating interactive and engaging learning experiences. MPU boasts research platforms and laboratories and nine collaborative laboratories , each equipped with cutting-edge resources, enabling students and researchers to conduct experiments and investigations across various disciplines.

Doctoral degree programmes:

Master’s degree programmes:

Bachelor’s degree programmes:
1. Having completed six years of secondary education and fulfilled the requirements for graduation; or 2. Currently attending the sixth year of secondary school or equivalent.

Postgraduate scholarship application must be submitted together with the admission application. Undergraduate scholarships are awarded by merit automatically and no application is required.
Accommodation is available for non-local students upon arrival. Student hostels are comfortably furnished with wardens appointed to take care of our students’ needs. The medium of instruction varies across programmes while the majority is delivered in English. Please refer to the postgraduate programmes and undergraduate programmes page for details.
Applications for postgraduate are accepted from October every year, and applications for undergraduate are accepted from December every year. Please refer to the application period under each respective admission route.
Candidates should apply online and upload the documents required via Online Application Portal, and pay their application fees within the application period.
