Bachelor of Economics and Business

The 1st cycle degree programme provides students with basic competencies and knowledge to work in various business functions in different types of company (profit, non-profit, private and public), in business consulting organisations and freelance professions.

The aim is to:

• provide the analytical tools required to understand the developments in the environment businesses operate in;
• provide basic tools and knowledge to train administrative and managerial profiles employed in businesses or working on a freelance basis;
• train operators able to transform business ideas into sustainable administrative, organisational and financial projects;
• provide the basic skills for accounting and auditing professions.

In this regard, the teaching programme focuses on basic learning in economics, management, law and mathematics and statistics, by studying the main theories and analysing the operative tools that lie behind the decision-making processes of business management.
