What is it that separates us? What connects us? And how can our differences help us all to pull in the same direction? In the International Relations course of study, these are the questions that move us. At Karlshochschule, we can test out the answers which we develop every day – in our exchanges with fellow students and with professors from all around the world. And in lots of exciting projects.

When we are met by friendly faces and the smell of coffee in the morning in Karls Café, when professors and students have light-hearted conversations - perhaps we start off just talking about our plans for the day, or even just about the weather. But it doesn’t take long for us to start talking about the big questions – we just can’t help it: Peace, prosperity, environmental protection, justice and human rights; these are the topics that drive us and keep us awake at night.

In the International Relations course of study, we engage precisely where others have long since switched off. We build bridges, we understand the world, we break down borders.

The course of study for all those, who

  • want to connect cultures
  • see themselves as citizens of the world
  • want to work in an international environment
