Bachelor in Halal Quality Assurance (Hons)

This program covers Halal Quality Management within the Halal industry sector. Graduates in this field will acquire an understanding, skills and expertise in Halal Quality Management.

Entry Requirements:

Entrance Qualification for STPM Candidates

• Pass SPM/ equivalent with at least credit in Bahasa Melayu
• Obtain at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies and Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) other subjects; and
• Pass Malaysian English Test (MUET) with Band 1.

Qualification for Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) certificate

• Pass SPM / equivalent with al least 5 credits; and
• Credit in Bahasa Melayu/ Malaysia at SPM level / equivalent (priority); and
• Receive at least Jayyid in STAM Examination ; and
• Pass MUET with Band one ; or

Entrance Qualification for Matriculation Candidate

• Pass SPM/ equivalent; and
• Credit in Bahasa Melayu/ Malaysia at SPM/ equivalent level; and
• Pass Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia matriculation / Foundation/ A-Level with at least CGPA 2.00 and
• Pass MUET with Band one (1); or

Entrance Qualification for Diploma Candidate (Level 4, KKM)

• Pass SPM/ equivalent
• Credit in Bahasa Melayu/ Malaysia at SPM Level/ equivalent ; and
• Obtain Diploma Qualification (Level 4, KKM) or equivalent qualification and endorse by university Senat; or
• Pass Diploma (Level 4, KKM) in related field with CGPA 2.75 and minimum 3 years working experience in the same field; or 
• Pass Diploma from Institut Kemahiran Mara (IKM)/ Diploma Kolej Komuniti/ Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) Level 4, KKM in related field; and
• Pass MUET with Band One (1) ; or

Other Qualification

• Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in 5 subjects; or
• Pass 3 subjects in A-Level (GCE); or
• The South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with minimum score of 65-70%; or
• Canadian Pre-university Program (CPU) with minimum score of 80%

For International student, candidate need to obtain at least 6.0 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or score in writing of 550 in Test as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or equivalent.
