The Visual Arts program at Northern Kentucky University is a community of students and teachers committed to the advancement of creative expression and scholarly research in the visual arts. Our cutting edge program in visual arts, art history, visual communication design and art education is the most comprehensive Visual Arts Program in the state of Kentucky, all the while, being the most affordable 4 year program in the region. The average advanced studio class has a 10:1 student to faculty ratio demonstrating our commitment to student success. Our students explore the past and engage the future. Six computer labs, an innovative print studio, expansive ceramics and sculpture studios embrace new technology that hum with productivity and creative exploration.
