Since its inception in 1401/1402 AH, the Department of Da’wah and Islamic Culture at the College of Da’wah and Fundamentals of Religion at Umm Al-Qura University has contributed to promoting lofty values, and this is consistent with what was stated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, with regard to those axes and the goals emanating from them, through its practical programs. The three:
The first: Bachelor’s programme,in the field of Da’wah and Islamic culture for both male and female sections,It is one of the first departments at Umm Al-Qura University to obtain full program accreditation in 1444 AH, in order to achieve excellence in government performance within the National Transformation Program 2030.

Its graduates can join all jobs that require obtaining a university degree, as stipulated in the Ministry of Human Resources.

Third: PhD programme, in the specialty of Da’wah and Islamic culture, granting a doctorate degree in the tracks of Islamic Da’wah and Islamic culture to male and female students.

The department teaches Islamic culture courses to all university students, which enhances adherence to Islamic morals and national belonging.

In addition to teaching distinct specialized subjects that include building moderate scientific thought and personality, in a unique harmony that combines the specializations of advocacy and Islamic culture at the level of Saudi and international universities.
