General objective of PhD in Regional Economics
To train highly specialized scientists in the area of ​​border studies whose research impacts regional economic development to serve government agencies and feed the consulting areas to companies and public agencies. To also contribute to the achievement of the institutional goals of the UAdeC regarding the elevation of the postgraduate quality standards and the contribution to regional science.
Addressed to:
Graduates of a master's degree in economics, regional economics, regional studies or in related areas, with an average knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and mathematical analysis. With capacity for analysis, synthesis, oral and written expression; with disposition to work in a team and individualized.
