The Doctorate in Clinical Research program develops competencies for patient-oriented research in physicians with prior clinical training in medical-surgical areas. It seeks to train medical scientists, capable of giving medical research the particular approach that only those doctors with clinical and methodological training can provide, which contributes to closing the gap between basic biomedical research and research useful for the management of patients in the real life.
It is an innovative program that fills a gap in the high-level training of clinical doctors with a scientific vocation, contributing to the generation of relevant and useful knowledge from hospital and outpatient contexts.
Our mission is to comprehensively train distinguished people to act for the benefit of society with a maximum sense of ethics and responsibility.
