The School of Industrial Engineering, through its Standing Committee, the delegate committee of the School Board, has approved a proposal for 6 places for each of the PCEO Degree in Biomedical Engineering / Degree in Mechanical Engineering. These degrees of the joint programs were designed, fundamentally, based on a main criterion aimed at improving the training and employability of university students. Therefore, the fact of combining these qualifications is not a question that seeks as the most attractive to get two careers in an easier way by their sequencing, but the knowledge and skills of both branches, which amplifies the jobs that can be aspire and make the graduate profile one of the most attractive in the market for companies by its specialization and, at the same time.
