The Master of Science in Analytics prepares students to extract value from data to assist organizations in predicting future events, understanding past performance and optimizing processes. Students will learn to apply methods of data mining, data wrangling, programing, quantitative methods, modeling, and machine learning to prepare very large data sets for analysis. Students will learn how apply the scientific method to develop and test hypotheses using mathematical and statistical principles and students will become skilled in the communication of results and findings through informative visualizations to project stakeholders. Students must complete a minimum of 30 units with a Pacific cumulative grade point average of 3.0 to earn the Master of Science in Analytics degree.
