Midwifery

The degree course in Obstetrics aims to train the professional who works independently and responsibly in the field of assistance and care, global, sexual and reproductive health, and protects the psycho-physical and social well-being of women, of the fetus and newborn, of the family and of the community. Graduates in Obstetrics are trained in the basic disciplines, physiology and pathology of the Obstetrics, Neonatology and Gynecology Area also through tutored clinical training, which allows for the progressive acquisition of knowledge, behavior and practical and communication skills.
