There are three faculties at the university: Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.

The university creates a vibrant academic environment, being notable for organizing a plethora of medical events, as well as the annual conference for medical students and young doctors, known as Medicalis. This typically attracts over 800 participants every year and is one of the most popular events of its kind in Romania.
