Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman

Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (KNEU) was founded in 1906 as Kyiv Graduate Commercial Courses (in 1908 it became Kyiv Commercial Institute, in 1920 - Kyiv National Economy Institute, in 1992 - Kyiv State Economics University, and in 1995 - Kyiv National Economics University).

Today, it is a leading higher education institution of economics and business in Ukraine.  The mission of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman is to contribute to the development of the society by means of the scientific research, the generation and the dissemination of the new knowledge, and the training of competitive specialists and creative personalities. 

KNEU is a non-profit public university which committed to a high quality in research and teaching. The University offers different modes of study (full time, part time, distance learning, blended learning options) for a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs: for Junior Bachelor degrees (pre-bachelor), Bachelor degrees, Master degrees, PhD degrees, as well as post-doctoral degree Doctor of Science (higher doctorate / habilitation). 

KNEU Global Recognition: 

• THE University Impact Rankings 2023: KNEU took 3rd place among all Ukrainian universities and 1st among the universities of economics and humanities in Ukraine, being in the global group of universities occupying 801-1000 places. The ranking evaluates the activities of the world's universities in terms of the level of positive impact on society, the economy and the environment. The ranking methodology involves each university participating in four of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals;
• Transparent Ranking 2023 (by Webometrics):   KNEU took 4th place among all Ukrainian universities and 1st among the universities of economics and humanities in Ukraine;
• Eduniversal Ranking: According to the French version of Ranking of Business Schools and Universities “Eduniversal Ranking” KNEU is an “Excellent Business School - 3 Palmes”;
• 2020 Global Go to Think Tank Index Report: KNEU ranks 3rd among all analytical centers in Ukraine, and 38th among best analytical centers of Central Europe.
