Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo" (UCB)

Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo” (UCB) was founded in May 1966 in La Paz, Bolivia. Its scopus is nationwide, having four regional campuses in La Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba and Tarija. It also has academic programs in rural areas of the country, oriented to local development. The core of its foundation is to provide not only a recognized academic excellence in the realm of professional education, but it also seeks to instill values, critical thinking, social commitment, and strategic skills in future professionals, who nowadays face global economic, social, and human challenges. The UCB promotes scientific research from the perspective of human beings, life, society and nature. It takes into account universal knowledge developed in different areas and includes a humanistic approach which highlights philosophical, cultural and artistic manifestations of universal and Bolivian heritage. 

Its Economics, Psychology, Communication, Theology, Medicine, Business, Engineering and Law Schools are recognized as leaders in their academic fields. Humanities, Culture and Arts are pivotal in all academic programs.
