Gifu University

Gifu University is a national university located in Gifu City, in the central region of Japan. Established in 1949, it has developed into a comprehensive institution offering education and research across a wide range of disciplines.

The university currently comprises six faculties: the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Regional Studies, the School of Medicine, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Applied Biological Sciences, and the School of Social System Management. In addition, Gifu University has graduate schools and offers a diverse range of graduate programs in fields such as education, regional studies, medicine, engineering, natural sciences, agriculture, veterinary science, and pharmaceutical sciences, including drug discovery.

With approximately 7,000 students and more than 800 academic staff members, Gifu University provides a dynamic learning environment that combines academic excellence with strong connections to the local community.
