North–Caucasus Federal University is one of Russia’s ten Federal Universities, each established as a unique institution within the NATIONAL EDUCATION PROJECT.

It remains true to its 90 year-long traditions in training top experts and yet it is always is open to innovation and new contacts.

The University research embraces 47 fields including nanotechnologies and advanced materials, biomedicine, food technologies, aerospace and geoinformation, sustainable development, neurocomputers, parallel and high-performance computing, as well as energy efficiency and conservation.

Equally extensive is our focus on social, political and humanities studies, including the culture and traditions of the North Caucasus, which is one of the most culturally diverse areas of the world. Our academics have accumulated huge experience in bridging culture gaps thus bringing closer people belonging to different ethnicities and facilitating intercultural dialogue. The University has long enjoyed a spirit of innovation, which it still continues to do. From studying demography to seeking cures for cancer, our experts are at the forefront of the research that will influence tomorrow’s world.

NCFU is always open to all dimensions of collaboration following the strategy for internationalization, and we are proud to we have established strong links, involving both education and research, with HEIs of 40 countries, the most notable being 5 double degree programs with Roma University La Sapienza (Italy) and Technical University Dresden (Germany). Our students coming from 59 countries can follow lectures delivered not by Russian professors alone yet also by those coming from Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, Slovenia and many other countries. The curriculum of 51 programs includes 255 disciplines taught in English, enghancing incoming and outgoing international academic mobility with our 20+ partner countries.

Besides, we are happy to claim that our special academic offer for 2020 includes 5 degree programs delivered 100% in English – 4 Bachelor’s degree programs in Construction Engineering, Information Security, Oil and Gas Engineering, Management, and Master’s degree program in Machine Engineering.And it is not the program only that makes the training here so fascinating but the strong partnership we have been enjoying with the world leading institutions – La Sapienza University of Rome, University of York, University of Heidelberg, University of Lisbon to name just a few.
