UPF Barcelona School of Management

The UPF Barcelona School of Management is the management school of the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). Founded in 1990, UPF is a public university, rooted in the city of Barcelona, highly competitive in terms of research, and with a vocation for educational transformation to respond to future challenges.

Pompeu Fabra University has quickly established itself in pre-eminent positions in national and international rankings: it is the top Spanish university according to the Times Higher Education University Ranking, and the 16th best university in the world (1st Spanish and 7th European according to the Times Higher Education Young Universities Ranking).

UPF-BSM has been awarded EQUIS accreditation, the most prestigious international standard of excellence in training quality for executives, which places us in the global elite of business schools.

We are the first business school linked to a Spanish public university to achieve this milestone, which furthers our position as an internationally renowned management school and as an attractive focal point for students from all over the world. The EQUIS accreditation has been added to our AMBA accreditation as a guarantee of maximum global quality in business training. As a double accredited centre, UPF-BSM has enhanced its attractiveness for both companies and students.

We are now starting the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation process. After achieving this last standard, UPF-BSM will have so-called “triple crown” accreditation, a milestone achieved by less than 1% of the world’s business schools.

We are also globally accredited by the Quality Agency of the University System of Catalonia (AQU). This institutional accreditation guarantees the educational quality of all our university degrees.
