Universita' Politecnica delle Marche

The  Università Politecnica delle Marche is located in Ancona in the centre of Italy, founded over 50 years ago. The University has 5 Faculties in the field of Economics,  Engineering , Agriculture, Science,  Medicine and Surgery.

 We  offer undergraduate courses, master degrees courses,  PhD courses and  specialization schools. The main campus is in Ancona and  other branches are located all over the Marche region

The University works closely with the territory and recognizes as its primary  tasks scientific research and higher education. The University fosters internationalization as one of the top priorities of its strategic development plan.

UNIVPM is a dynamic institution, with a young and energetic teaching body with a very interdisciplinary attitude and a broad outlook to the world; there are excellent facilities and the staff is devoted to students and happy to help the newcomers in every aspect of their life.

 All departments have multi-media classrooms and modern labs, as well as specialized labs devoted to advanced research.

Research is mainly carried out in the 12 Departments of the University:

• Life and Environmental Sciences;

• Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences;

• Economics and Social Sciences;

• Management;

• Information Engineering;

• Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences;

• Materials, Environmental Sciences and Urban Planning;

• Construction, Civil Engineering and Architecture;

• Experimental and Clinical Medicine;

• Biomedical Sciences and Public Health;

• Molecular and Clinical Sciences;

• Odontostomatologic and Specialized Clinical Sciences.

  There are five Faculties which are situated on three main campuses:

   •the Science and Technology Campus, located in Monte Dago (Ancona), houses the Faculties of Engineering, Agriculture and Science;

  •the Biological, Scientific and Health Care Campus in Torrette (Ancona) is a complex specifically built to meet the needs of the teaching and research activities of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery;

  •the Campus for the faculty of Economics, in Ancona’s  historical centre, is situated in the renovated 19th century ex-barracks called Caserma Villarey.

  Other courses run by the Università Politecnica delle Marche are based in the towns of Ascoli Piceno, Fabriano, Fermo, Macerata, Pesaro and San Benedetto del Tronto, all over the Marche region.
