Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata

The National University of Mar del Plata was founded in 1975 in the southeast of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It has strong undergraduate and postgraduate programs organized in 10 faculties: the Faculty of Law; the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences; the Faculty of Medicine; the Faculty of Psychology; the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Design; the Faculty of Humanities; the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences; the Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Work; the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences. More than 20000 students take part in undergraduate programs, all of which which are free of charge and several short-term study programs are available for international students. The National University of Mar del Plata has a strong research output and offers several PhD and Masters programs for which national and local scholarships are available.
