The Tasmanian School of Business and Economics (TSBE), formerly known as the Faculty of Business, is committed to extending the boundaries of business education. We aim to achieve this through close relationships with professional associations, other educational providers and universities, businesses, employers and government – across Australia and internationally. Our students can be found on three campuses – Sandy Bay in Hobart; Newnham in Launceston; and the Cradle Coast Campus in Burnie – both full-time and part-time. Students come from all over the world to study with us, including, but not limited to, China, Hong Kong, Germany, India, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom. We are proud to have a strong heritage, with 100 years of Economics at UTAS in 2014, Accounting and Corporate Governance education taught since 1919 and Management making a great contribution since 1992. The School is also associated with the Australian Innovation Research Centre, which aims to be an international driver of innovation policy research as well as the Australian Institute of Health Service Management, teaching and researching in this dynamic area. We have a team of staff recognised around the world for their excellence in teaching and research.
