The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science can turn your sporting passion into a career. This degree provides a comprehensive study of sport sciences and how the human body responds to exercise. You’ll learn about human movement, biomechanics, movement control, exercise physiology, exercise and sport psychology, coaching and exercise prescription, with the opportunity to specialise in either business management, physical education or strength, conditioning and coaching. Our graduates work in many areas of sport and health, including sports psychology, nutrition, teaching, coaching, performance testing, health promotion and education.

To meet the University's English Language Proficiency requirement, applicants must have either completed six years of primary and secondary education in English in a Recognised Country (including two years between years 7 and 12), or two years of full-time secondary, tertiary, or vocational education taught in English in a Recognised Country. Alternatively, they can meet the requirement by achieving a specific score on one of several recognized tests, such as IELTS (7 overall, with 7 in each component), OET (B in each component), PTE Academic (65 overall, with 65 in each skill), or TOEFL iBT (94 total, with specific minimum scores in each section). Other options include completing the English for Academic Purposes 3 program or the Diploma of Health at SCU College. Recognised Countries include Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, the UK, and the USA.
