The pre-selection semester occurs in semester 1 (beginning late February each year) and is your opportunity to compete for entry into the professional phase of the veterinary degree. During this phase you’ll complete the pre-requisite courses for veterinary selection (or alternates if you are given credit for these courses). You’ll also complete a range of selection assessments as detailed in “selection to the professional phase” on the BVSc planning page. Your grades from your courses along with the results of your selection assessments will be utilised to determine your selection score for ranking for selection into the professional phase.
