A communications major develops a command of both oral and written skills, which opens a range of professional and career options. For example, student may tailor their programs for a career in print media (journalism), desktop publishing, television and radio communication, public relations, development, advertising and corporate or nonprofit information cultural analysis. Students receive rigorous preparation that enables them to continue with graduate work in communications. Qualified students are encouraged to combine their undergraduate program with graduate studies in communication via our integrated B.S./M.S.P.C. program. Through study of a major, a student specializes and deepens academic and professional knowledge in a subject area. Students pursuing the bachelor of science degree must meet with an academic advisor for information about degree requirements.

Applicants must have a diploma from an accredited secondary school or G.E.D. equivalency is required for admission to Clark. Other English language requirements: 55 on the PTE.
