The Master of Science for the Clinical Nurse Leader, offered through the School of Nursing and ranked fourth by the 2019 U.S. News & World Report, prepares nurses to earn a Master of Science in Nursing and function as an advanced generalist in a variety of settings across the continuum of care. The CNL is a leadership role designed for nurses who want to make a difference in the clinical setting or provide leadership in educating others to gain these skills. The didactic education can be attained exclusively online, and in most cases, the required 420 clinical hours can be arranged in your own community.
