About Poznan University of Technology

Poznan University of Technology (PUT) is an important higher education institution in Greater Poland region (Wielkopolska). Created in 1919, with more than 100 years of history, PUT is an excellent example of tradition combined with modern approach to education and  research. Currently, Poznan University of Technology is a nine-faculty institution of higher education:

  • Faculty of Architecture
  • Faculty of Automatic Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering
  • Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications
  • Faculty of Civil and Transport Engineering
  • Faculty of Materials Engineering and Technical Physics
  • Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
  • Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy
  • Faculty of Engineering Management
  • Faculty of Chemical Technology

 

 

The university offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. In 1995, Poznan

University of Technology became a member of the Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAEER). From  2020, Poznan University of Technology is the leader of European University EUNICE – European Commission project. The main goal of EUNICE (European University for Customized Education) is to build a common European University of the future, aspiring to generate a shift from traditional to customized education through inter-university mobility and to provide a high-quality digital learning with strong cooperation with industry, offering flexible multidisciplinary studies and exchange opportunities for students and staff.
