Amity University Chhattisgarh is established in the year 2015 by the Amity Group of Educational Institutions, one of the leading education groups in India, serving the Nation in particular and humanity in general, since more than two decades by providing world class education, beginning from pre-primary to post-doctoral studies. Amity has its strong presence across India and abroad as well, offering many programmes in varied fields of interest. Amity is a value-based research & innovation driven institution duly committed with conviction for providing quality education to develop enlightened citizens and effective leaders of the future with holistic personality development

The University has a strong focus on Outcome Based Education (OBE) in all programmes and courses having well defined objectives and learning outcomes aligned with institutional mission and the requirements of Industry 4.0 and Education 4.0. The curriculum is integrated with flexible Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and experiential learning along with interdisciplinary exposure to meet students’ interests and aspirations.

The University has several active national / international collaborations with institutions of high repute for quality research and academic outcomes. It is associated with 31 foreign universities and organizations for the purpose of collaborative research and student exchange programs.

Research Thrust Area of Regional & Social Relevance: Research work is being carried-out in emerging areas relevant to social impact of the Chhattisgarh State, i.e., study of composition of arsenic and fluoride in groundwater water in the State, technological intervention for tribal development, Nano biological study to connect the regional medicinal plants in Ayurveda and discover its potential therapeutic applications , biological process for optimum bio-fuel productions, application of emerging technologies viz. Nano Sciences, Data Sciences, IoT, AI & ML etc. O ther relevant R&D works are underway in collaboration with industry and institutions of National importance viz. National Institute of Biotic Stress Management , All India Institute of Medical Sciences etc .

Institutional Social Responsibility: Towards it’s social responsibilities, the University has been doing work on progressive life style of the local populace from the villages of this region by introducing vernacular architecture, within the available resources. In this direction, taking a step forward, we have commenced work for the welfare of tribals of the region in association with UNICEF. As an integral part of the extra- curricular activities, the University participates in every possible way under it’s Social Outreach Programs, thereby inculcating traits of empathy, sensibility and sense of responsibility in the students.

Within a short span of its inception, Amity University Chhattisgarh has achieved many mile-stones in the field of Research & Development, Innovations, Entrepreneurship etc. and received numerous awards and recognitions bringing laurels to the State of Chhattisgarh. Recognized by it’s prowess and based on the excellent performance of Institute Innovation Council (IIC) of the University has been awarded a Five Star Rating and Ranked No 01 in Chhattisgarh State by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India. Students team won the First Prize in Smart India Hackathon -2019 (SIH) conducted by Ministry of Human Resource Development in association with All India Council for Technical Education.
