Van Yüzüncü Yıl University

Van Yuzuncu Yil University (Van YYU) was established on 20 July 1982 in Van, Turkey. The University carries out education and other activities on the edge of Lake Van with its 19 Faculties, 5 Institutes, 2 Higher Schools, 11 Vocational Schools, 1 Conservatory, and 49 Application and Research Centers. Van YYU, which is 15 km away from the city center, continues its education activities in the Central Zeve Campus and the satellite campuses of Gevaş, Özalp, Başkale, Muradiye and Erciş. Its name, which was Yuzuncu Yil University, was changed to Van Yuzuncu Yil University in accordance with the law dated 18.06.2017 and numbered 7033. Van Yuzuncu Yil University, acting with the claim of being a universal world university on the way of science, has started to contribute to the social, cultural and economic development of the city where it is located, to make its cooperation with its stakeholders continuous and updatable, to make a name for itself in the international dimension, and it continues on its way by increasing this feature.
