About Namangan State University

Namangan State University (NamSU) is one of the biggest higher educational institutions in our Uzbekistan with more than 28 thousand students and over 1000 teaching staffs. It is located in Namangan province which has almost 3 mln population. The fastest economic growth and intensive social development require more highly qualified and talented young professional cadres. NamSU is considered a key role player to provide with such cadres for economic and social sectors. Especially in educational spheres, government bodies, public organizations and also in private establishments one can see our graduated students who built successful careers. The university has 25 doctors of science and 252 professors with a scientific degree. Currently NamSU offers 65 bachelor, 24 master and 33 PhD programs . The quality of education is our major focus which we always strive forward to provide better conditions for our students to get the modern and fundamental knowledge. The triangulation of “Research, Education and Industry” integration is our main approach in educational process. Starting from 2022, for the purpose of scientific developments, 3 modern complexes (breeding, aquaculture, furniture shop) 1 diagnostic center for cancer diseases, "NamSU coworking center" were organized. In order to improve the scientific appearance of the university, many professor and researchers have been working on projects and scientific works. Recently, the number of articles in journals that are international base by NamSU professors has reached to 419. Moreover, one of the priorities of NamSU is to improve the quality of future cadres and there is a special branch for working with intelligent youth. up to now, 1394 students have been confirmed in "teacher-student" system. Day by day, overall skills of students are getting higher and higher with the help of dedication by professors. Besides that, every year NamSU hosts several foreign specialists in teaching different fields and this also refers to the attention for students. In 2022, NamSU has also hosted several teachers from different countries via fellowship programs.
Up to now, Namangan state university has activeley participated in European comission projects. In Tempus program, NamSU paticipated and organized project under title Towards a Central Asian Higher education area:Tuning structures and Building Quality culture. Besides that, NamSU was involed in projects in Erasmus+(ModeHEd, IMEP, UZDOC2.0). With the help of those projects, University professor and teachers and student managed to imrpove their working and studying career considerably.
