Caucasus International University (CIU) is a Higher Education Institution based on national values and focused on constant development. University history dates back to 1995. It is a higher education institution equipped with modern infrastructure and technology and oriented towards integration with the international educational field and continuous improvement.

Caucasus International University is an educational-scientific institution that supports socio-economic progress and develops values of Georgian and world culture based on modern knowledge.
University Mission:
Caucasus International University creates modern learning and the scientific environment by implementing innovative methods, as well as through intercultural education and diverse university life. The University ensures the upbringing of a generation with democratic values that will be competitive in the local and international labor markets.
University and its Programs are recognized and accredited by: the World Federation for Medical Education ( WFME); WHO; ECFMG; MCI; and JMC. We have Partnerships with more than 90 Universities worldwide. The clinical study is conducted in leading modern partner hospitals in Georgia and in Spain (clinical rotations).

Student Mentor:
The Peer Mentor Institute has been launched at the university; its sphere of activity is to introduce the university to freshmen and mobility students, to engage them in university life, and to offer consultations and recommendations in various directions. A mentor carries out activities with his/her student group through meetings, individual consultations, and group communication via social networks, organizing excursions, and other meetings.
Career Development Service:
Career Development Service has been functioning at Caucasus International University since 2012, aiming at facilitating career planning for students and alumni. The service supports them to acquire the skills necessary to succeed in professional careers.
Graduates of Caucasus International University (Alumni Club):
• Supporting the activities and the brand of the university;
• Providing feedback and alertness among the graduates of the university and facilitating career growth of graduates;
• Establishing and strengthening links with the structural units where graduates work;
• Determining the levels of graduate satisfaction;
• Develop and strengthen the graduates' support system;
• Raise social responsibility in graduates' activities.

CIU provides the protection of students’ rights and interests enrolled in educational programs based on legislation and internal normative acts. This issue is regulated by the Law of Georgia on Higher Education, Provision of CIU, Internal Regulation, Regulation for Academic Process, Code of Ethics, Provision of Library and agreements signed with students.

Caucasus International University plays a significant role in the public, and social/cultural life of the country and contributes to the development of the country and society. In addition, it facilitates the development and implementation of effective learning tools. Various events are systematically organized in the university.
