Established in 1942, Zamorano is a venerable institution renowned for its long-standing tradition and esteemed reputation. It is recognized by governments and the private sector alike as a pivotal ally in the advancement of agricultural and environmental science programs, fostering businesses that contribute not only to the prosperity of Honduras but also to the entire Latin American region.

Situated at the heart of the Americas in Honduras, our expansive 4500-hectare campus serves as a living botanical garden, located just 30 km from Tegucigalpa.

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including laboratories, research centers, production and marketing units, as well as an agro-industrial park, Zamorano provides students with immersive learning experiences in authentic work environments.

Furthermore, we are dedicated to the preservation of the Uyuca Biological Reserve, an expanse spanning 907 hectares that teems with biodiversity in both fauna and flora.
