YAZD UNIVERSITY

Yazd University founded in 1987 is located in Yazd, a city right in the middle of Iran. The university has an area of 380 ha with a total building area of 24 ha. The YU as a comprehensive one has five faculties with total number of 400 faculty members. There are about 15000 students studying in 180 different fields in three levels of Bachelor, Master and PhD. The university has a good record of publication within different national and international journals and conferences. There are also numerous research patents presented by the university faculties and students. YU demonstrates an academic community with great ambitions to link with the rest of the academic world to enhance the edge of knowledge.
