All JCA students are encouraged to start their own brands during their studies and start selling the collections they have designed from our onsite boutique. This is an invaluable way to learn how commerce intersects with design and gives you the confidence to move seamlessly into the world of professional design when you graduate.
We do this by building and curating a dynamic ecosystem that brings together the vital ingredients needed to develop, actively nurture and promote new designers, brand pioneers and creative disruptors of fashion.

You will be taught by our mentors at our flagship London Fashion Academy located in the heart Mayfair; a prestigious address just a stone’s throw from the city’s most iconic high-fashion emporia.

Extensive research from findings listed in reports such as, Nesta, PWC, and Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) has suggested that it is important to create the right mix of companies in incubation to develop the desired ecosystem to encourage innovation.

Incubation at the Academy will focus on nurturing new technologies that advance fashion and fashion related industries through, for example, Smart Textiles, Wearable Technology, Haptics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR). These new technologies will complement the JCA Curriculum and can advance course delivery and learner experience across the institution.
The Fashion Industry is no exception and there are already many scopes for application (e.g. Machine Learning for Marketing and Advertising) and many for development and opportunities to gain an edge in such a competitive market.
