This master distinguishes itself from other masters by the combination of patient-oriented research and medical practice. As an A-KO you fulfill a bridging function, because you can translate the results of scientific research into the practice of patient care. After completing this master, you will be both a medical doctor and a clinical researcher. In the fourth year you can take the first steps towards a PhD trajectory. You can then continue your path in scientific research. A specialization in the medical world is also possible, for example as a general practitioner or surgeon.
