The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sirte was established in 200 5 . It has been offering Mechanical Engineering Programs leading to the B.Sc., The term system of study has been followed within the department. This department has proposed M.Sc. study programme for studed year (20 2 2-20 23 ). The following is the M.Sc. proposed curriculum of the Mechanical Department for the two years of study. The M.Sc. degree includes one specialty; the “ Production Engineering and Materials ", M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering is also followed the term system of study. The main aim for proposing the postgraduate programme in the mechanical engineering’s department in Sirte University, to give the new graduated students the chance for complete their postgraduate study (Master degree) in the easy-going environment, so they will be able to study and work in same time. This programme will help them to improve their skill and their abilities in their work fields. As mentioned early, this programme will assist them to improve their skills to figure out the society problems related to the mechanical engineering. They will learn more how to use and practise their mathematical and mechanical skills in their daily life to solve different issues may face them in their organizations.
