Universiti Selangor (UNISEL), formerly known as Universiti Industri Selangor, was officially established on 23rd August 1999 and received an approval under the Private Higher Education Institutions Act 1996 (Act 555) on 14th March 2000. Currently, UNISEL operates on two well-established campuses—the expansive 1,000-acre Main Campus in Bestari Jaya and the City Campus in the heart of Shah Alam.
