Guizhou Qiannan Economic College

Guizhou Qiannan Economic College, formerly known as College of Business of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, was established in 2001 with the consent of Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, approved by Guizhou Provincial People's Government for setting up, and confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2004 as an undergraduate school with independent legal personality and licensed to run schools for the implementation of bachelor's degree education.On April 16, 2014, in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education of China and the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics regulate the operation of independent colleges and set up a new campus in Huishui County, Qiannan Prefecture, which was officially put into use in September 2014.On May 31, 2021, the Ministry of Education issued the Letter of the Ministry of Education on the Consent of the College of Business of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics to be Converted into Guizhou Qiannan Economic College(Letter of Teaching and Development [2021] No.75), which formally approved that the College of Business of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics was converted into Guizhou Qiannan Economic College

The school covers a total area of nearly 1,400 acres, with a total construction area of more than 320 thousand square meters, more than 1.47 million paper books, more than 1.5 million electronic books, and a total value of more than 75 million yuan of instruments and equipment. The school consists of six colleges, including the School of Finance, the School of Accounting, the School of Management, the School of Information, the School of Liberal Arts and Law, and the School of Marxism, and offers 30 undergraduate majors such as accounting, finance, business administration, computer science and technology, Chinese language and literature, and law, covering five disciplines such as economics, management, engineering, literature, and law. The school has a sufficient number of high-quality full-time and part-time teachers to meet the needs of teaching, up to now, there are more than 700 full-time teachers.
