MAHSA University is strategically located within30 minutes from the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. Despitebeing one of Malaysia’s youngest universities, MAHSA is proud to be rated “VeryGood” in the 2017 SETARA Rating for Higher Education Institutions inMalaysia.  It is an extraordinaryachievement for such a young University, in large due to the strength of itsteaching and learning faculties and the strong linkages with industry partnersand the public sector.

Characterised by a tradition of innovation,constantly improving the quality of education and student experience, andstrengthening the quality and impact of research, MAHSA is held in high regard bysponsorship bodies, professional boards and employers. Indeed, the variousaccreditations by Regulatory Boards, Professional Bodies and InternationalAccreditation Standards further affirmed the highest quality at MAHSA.

There are seven faculties which include theFaculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty ofPharmacy, Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences, Faculty of Nursing andMidwifery, Faculty of Business, Finance and Hospitality, Faculty of Engineeringand Information Technology.

A broad range of academic qualifications areoffered, ranging from Foundation, Diploma and Degree programmes to Masters andPhD qualifications. All MAHSA programmes are delivered in English. Links areestablished with international universities and benchmarking arrangements,giving confidence that the curriculum reflect that of other internationalInstitutions. The programmes are recognized internationally by countries suchas United Arab Emirates, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Mauritius, Pakistan,Nigeria, South Korea, Thailand, India and Jordan.

Future plans for MAHSA include the developmentof a 200-bedded hospital, a Sports and Recreation complex and an eco-park andgarden, promoting healthier and greener living and making the case for theimportance of urban greenspaces.
