Founded in 1993 in Al-Anbar Province, Iraq, the University of Al-Maarif (UOA) began as a modest academic initiative driven by a passionate community of scholars determined to contribute to Iraq’s development and global progress through science and knowledge.

Today, UOA stands as a leading private university in Iraq, home to more than 389 distinguished faculty members and over 4676 undergraduate students.
