The Universidad Catolica San Pablo (UCSP) is an academic community animated by the orientations and life of the Catholic Church that, in the light of faith and with the effort of reason, seeks the truth and promotes the integral formation of the person through activities such as research, teaching and social service, to contribute to the configuration of culture according to the identity and deployment of the human being.

RESEARCH

The UCSP also runs a variety of research centers and institutes, including Institute of Energy and Environment, Institute for Marriage and Family, Electronics and Telecommunications Research Center and the Research and Innovation Center in Computer Science. In the last 3 years, the university has won more than 15 project grants nationwide financed by FONDECYT (National Fund for Scientific, Technological and Technological Innovation Development) and more than 10 project grants in partnership with a variety of companies in Arequipa financed by INNOVATE_Perú (National Innovation Program for Competitiveness and Productivity of the Ministry of Production).
