 A trans-disciplinary research model unifying expertise from all five faculties of the university viz. Applied Sciences and Biotechnology, Basic Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Management Sciences and Liberal Arts, and Pharmaceutical Sciences, helped university to leverage the meager resources to the maximum. This model helped in achieving the tangible research outputs that are better or comparable to any of the university/institute (public or private) established in India in last nine years (since 2009).

 Shoolini is uniquely located in Kasauli Hills, Solan, Himachal Pradesh – a 1.5 hour drive from Chandigarh and a one hour drive from Shimla. Built in the middle of a pine forest, the Shoolini University has one of India’s modern, clean and inspiring campuses. Shoolini’s Yogananda library has won several national and international architectural awards. Shoolini is a true green campus – 100% Solar, 100% recycling of water, and energy efficient buildings.
