Utsunomiya University

Located in the Japanese city of Utsunomiya, Utsunomiya University is a national university with over 5,000 students enrolled. Founded in 1922, the university was initially an agriculture and forestry college but has since expanded its focus. Today, there are four faculties: agriculture, engineering, education, and international studies. Postgraduate teaching is also offered in these four subject areas, with doctoral courses in agriculture taught as part of a joint school run with Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Ibaraki University.
