Indian Institute of Technology Delhi vs Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

The QS World University Rankings by Subject ranks both the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in several subjects. 

IIT Delhi scores well in several subjects, particularly those in the engineering and technology category. It also scores well in social sciences and management subjects.  

IIT Bombay also scores well for engineering and technology subjects, natural sciences and some arts and humanities subjects such as architecture and art and design. 

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is located in the capital city of New Delhi in the Northern region of India. New Delhi is a busy metropolis which combines history and cultural tradition with modern shopping districts. 

There are plenty of historical and cultural sites for students to enjoy while studying in New Delhi. One of the most famous is the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Qutub Minar.

There are many modern shopping centres, galleries and districts in Mumbai that are perfect for any student who wants to experience a busy Indian city. The Phoenix Palladium, The R City Shopping Centre, Phoenix Marketcity and Oberoi Mall are all part of this vibrant city experience.
