About Abdelhafid Boussouf University Center of Mila
University of Mila was created by Executive Decree No. 204-08 of 06 Rajab 1429 corresponding to July 9, 2008.
It opened its doors at the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 to accommodate the first class of over 1,000 students, becoming the first
university institution created by the higher education and scientific research sector in the wilaya of Mila.
University of Mila is a public scientific, cultural and professional institution with legal personality and financial
autonomy.
The university of Mila is a constantly evolving educational and scientific institution dedicated to research and scientific promotion and technological development in the scientific community.
The University of Mila promotes and disseminates the culture of innovation, and participates in strengthening the national scientific potential, the valuation of the research results, and the dissemination of scientific information and technical cooperation. It also engages within the international scientific and cultural community to exchange and spread knowledge.
The University of Mila is located five kilometres from the city center on the road connecting the cities of Mila and Zghaya and occupies a total area of 87 hectares.
