    Abu Dhabi University (also referred to as ‘ADU’) is a private, multi-campus, comprehensive institution of higher learning focused on professional programmes. Based in the United Arab Emirates, ADU has a prominent presence in the country, with four campus locations.     Abu Dhabu University is comprised of five colleges, including the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Law and the College of Health Sciences, which deliver the general education requirements for all undergraduate programmes. Their campuses offer cutting-edge learning and research facilities to empower students to achieve their potential. The world-class learning environment, supported by state-of-the-art educational technology and modern facilities, houses 61 laboratories, 75 classrooms, food and coffee shops, male and female dormitories, and staff housing. The extensive sport facilities include football pitches, basketball courts, tennis and volleyball courts, and cricket fields.

    A brand-new, purpose-built extension to the main building opened in 2017, which is home to the College of Engineering. An extensive engineering laboratory infrastructure, among the best in the UAE, spans more than an entire floor.

    ADU is licensed and accredited by the AE Commission for Academic Accreditation – Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and attained ISO 9001:2008 certification in January 2010, and the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in 2011.

    Al Ain campus
     

    The 7,500m2 campus is equipped with all the facilities required to provide a superior education experience including state‐of‐the art computer laboratories, a micro‐teaching laboratory dedicated to the teaching programmes, a Learning Support Center, a library with electronic resources available via the library portal 24/7, fully equipped classrooms and audio and visual rooms, dedicated graduate programme classrooms and recreational facilities.  


    Dubai campus

    The campus is the only university in the UAE equipped with Microsoft Surface Hub ‐ a new category of collaboration device that combines Whiteboard, audio and visual conferencing, applications, projection, cross platform integration and best‐in‐class hardware ‐ providing a truly engaging and innovative education experience.

    For Abu Dhabi University, students are at the heart of everything they do.     Counselling services are available to all ADU students. They also educate students on academic and interpersonal issues, assess and provide arrangements for students who have additional requirements, and offer assistance in the case of personal emergencies.

     

    There are male and female dorms offering private occupancy, private with shared bath and kitchen or double occupancy. Students will also have access to a range of recreational facilities, shopping centres and food shops. There is transportation for shopping trips, and other public transportation facilities are also available and easy to use.

Alongside the application, candidates will need to include documents such as their Emirates ID, passport copy, high school transcript or equivalency letter plus others. Depending if the programme is taught in English or Arabic, an English or Arabic language score may be required.

The centre also runs an entrepreneur club and an incubation programme for advanced innovators.

     

    Their Student Employment Program (SEP) provides on-campus, part-time employment for all students who want to work and gain valuable work experience while studying at Abu Dhabi University. SEP offers an excellent opportunity for students to develop their skills and expand their work experience, working according to their preferred schedule.
