Universitas Ahmad Dahlan

Universitas Ahmad Dahlan is one of Muhammadiyah Higher Educations in Yogyakarta. Since its first operation as a B1 course of Muhammadiyah Education in 1956, then became the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in 1960 and the Institute of Teacher Training and Education in 1972, then officially changed into Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) in 1994, we always improve to be one of the best universities in Indonesia till the international level.

To achieve the goal,  UAD continues to improve its varied services to offer a comfortable place to study for its students. Various collaborations continue to be improved, including those with educational institutions, research institutions, the government, non-governmental organizations, and industrial institutions, both on a national and international level. It is expected that, with these various collaborations, the students will get optimum learning experience and outcome, which is in line with the educational objective of Muhammadiyah, “To mold a Muslim person who is faithful, devoted, noble in character, confident, able to advance and develop science, skilled and consistent in doing good deeds towards the realization of noble, just and prosperous society that is blessed by Allah SWT “. This is the reason for UAD to have the motto of “Moral and Intellectual Integrity”.

Our university also has a lot of scientific studies in the various existing faculties and study programs, not to mention the internal institutions and discussion forums in it. Thus, anyone who wants to study at UAD has a variety of scientific study options, along with their variations. This also allows students to enrich their knowledge and research experience at UAD.

The quality of services provided by the university is also supported by the culture of the educational city of Yogyakarta, which is conducive to increasing students’ interest in learning. The location of UAD, right in the middle of Yogyakarta city, makes it easier for students to access various public facilities to support their learning process.
